KDE PIM/Platform-independent is a collection of KDE PIM applications that can be used on various platforms, such as Sharp Zaurus, Microsoft Windows, Linux, and others that support Trolltechs Qt. It includes KOrganizer and KAddressbook, which are part of KDE and are used to manage personal information, including mail, calendar, contacts, and more. Kontact is the main result of this suite, which is a personal information manager.
